"The signs that say no swimming are NOT enough! The city should build bigger fences!"
3 or 4 people said the same thing!! On TV! God I wanted to reach through the tv and smack them!!!
BIG RED SIGNS say NO SWIMMING!!

NEW YORK -- Two teenagers have drowned in the Bronx River, where they had gone swimming near a waterfall close to the entrance of the zoo.
Police say the 17-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl were pulled from the river on Sunday and taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, where they were pronounced dead.
They were not identified.
Police say the teens were swimming near East 180th Street and Boston Road when they were overpowered by the current of the 23-mile river, which cuts a southward path through the Bronx.
The fire department says first responders were called about 3 p.m. Police officers, firefighters and civilians pitched in to help rescue the two teens.
