been in shop 3 times and still not fixed..

95 pro v 150.... 120 compression on all cylinders.... oil disconected....... problem is motor jumps out of hole like a rocket...its on a 17foot bullet.... but i hear a slight click and it bogs down... in 3 seconds , click it gains power.. 3 seconds dies, ets etc as long as stay above idle , every3 seconds it goes up or down..... any clue guys,,,,,,,,,,,,,thanks

Where is this click audible from?If it is from the control you may have a shorted keyswitch or harness.If you are hearing that all the way from the helm from the engine,there are a couple of possibilities.

Check to see if it is the choke also,you could disconnect the choke on the carbs and see if it goes away.
