beginner question

The last couple of times out Ive noticed that when I go from idle to WOT as the bow comes up engine really over-revs. Its like the props is over-spinning. The trim is all the way down and as soon as I back off and start over, just easing into WOT it seems Ok. Any thoughts??? My first thought is there seems to be something slipping when really putting the torque to it.

Thanks for the help.

Re: beginner question

Maybe you should get onto plane first before puting it into wot. That would be what I would do. my $0.02 worth.

Re: beginner question

I was thinking the beginning of a spun hub also. Put a mark across the hub and see if it still lines up after it happens again.

... and the AV plate is the 'fin' just above your propellor, designed to do just that - stop the prop sucking in surface air, or 'ventilating'.
