Belt set for a 1990 4.3 OMC

I would like to replace my belt set for my 1990 OMC 4.3 liter Cobra. I am not sure where to start....when I order something for my car I provide the year, make and model. Is there a standard set of belts for this engine? Its the GM engine, I believe, since its the V6.

Ayuh,.... You can use the motor's serial numbers to find yer parts, or pull the belts, 'n go to yer local auto parts store to match 'em up,....

There is probably a visible number on the existing belts if they're not too old. Any auto pats store can match them up from the numbers or at worse measure the old ones and figure out the replacement part #.

Thanks for the help! I will pull them this weekend. I'll also search for the engine serial number as well.
