Bent prop shaft?

Will a bent prop shaft vibrate at all rpms?? 4.3l volvo i/o penta sx drive

If it's not really bad you may only feel it at certain rpm but if it's more than a couple thou. you'll probably feel it all the time.

Definatly, especially if your prop got a ding or bent a little. I've had to replacealot of shafts and have props rebuilt.

bardo did you hit bottom? sx shafts bend easy spin prop can you see it bounce? i have seen those bent with alum props on. almost any marina will check it for free just for the chance at a insurance job.

No, I didn't hit bottom, I spun the prop and sure can't see it bounce, everything feels good, I know that the shaft can be bent and not noticable but I'm hoping more that since it's only at 2200 to 2500 rpm that it may just be the engine.
