Have to put this out there seams this easy job is not so easy. Remove prop and thrust washer bend back locking tabs mabey. Two!if locking nut won't come loose drill it knock peaces inward. Now take your drive shaft removal wrench that. U use on the upper gear case put it over prop shaft use a solid hob prop I had a junk clever I used. Put wrench on then prop use spacers and nut on shaft tighten nut the prop shaft will pull the carrier about a inch out of hosing.
