Best boat cover patch?

I've got a brand new (this year) cover for my boat that was supposed to be trailerable. I took the boat for a trip this week and got two small 2" cuts in the fabric near the transom edge. I could return it under warerenty but figure it's easier to patch since the cuts are so minor. Duct tape would do it but I'm wondering if there is a glue on patch that would work better.
