The contacts on a couple of buttons on my wand for my heat/massage couch (mechanic's best friend) became tempermental.
tried brake clean, crocus cloth...no success.

then I realized there are extra "unused" buttons on the membrane layer (I guess for fancier couches with more zones)

So I cut a couple out and repositioned them... all works great, but the buttons weren't as tall, nor did they say "heat" or "back" etc so I sliced the original button tops off and now need to glue them on

I thought 3M 5200, but the led light won't glow through that... need something clear.

Super glue maybe?

Plumbers Goop. Sticks to just about anything, and stays flexible.

Good old fashioned silicone (RTV)? Available in clear and sticks to pretty much anything. Remains flexible and is pretty tough.

Will take about 24 hours to fully cure before you can use it though.
