Howdy.......because of the textured surface on my topsides I can't compound and buff like I can on the hull. Does anyone have a favorite product that can be spread on and wiped off without leaving wax and/or dirt down in the cracks?

I've heard of PolyGlow, but haven't used it. Any others that you can advise?

Thanks......

I have used PoliGlow with good success. I am not sure how well it will work on a rough surface . . .

I guess it depends exactly what kind of surface you have? How deep are the "cracks"? I use Nu-Finish on most painted surfaces (including colored gelcoat) for many years. Let it dry and the residue just wipes off. Note that it will shine a surface but won't abraid away oxidation, calcification, etc.

The surface cracks are shallow, kind of like naugahyde imitation lizard skin. Compound or wax gets in these cracks and makes it look dirty. PolyGlow is one of those "Acrylic polymer" treatments that you put 5 coats on and supposedly it lasts a year. It's a liquid that you can brush on and let dry.....that's it. But all I know are sales pitches......don't know if these products actually work.
