I havea Lowrance GlobalNav 310 GPS unit. I have gone form a Lund Rebel tiller to a 2003 Lund Mr. Pike Console. What would be the best location for the antenna?

Thanks
I would mount it as high as possible, maybe a small stalk. The current 12 channel, WAAS units are hard to block from a good signal. I would try it first with the internal antenna if it has one. If not the external antenna should not be blocked, let's say 6'0 high or so.
All that GPS antennas need is, line of sight, from horizon to horizon....... They'll see that laying on the forward deck.... No stalk needed....it usaully comes down to "What Looks Better".....
