This is my boat it is a custom Regal 21 with a stern bracket old pic moter is now a 225 merc optimax.
I have had a 19 mirage plus on it which seemed to perform well accept I only got about 5100rpm wot I had a good cruise geting about 3.3mpg at about 33mph forgot rpm.
Also tested 21 mirage which ran ok about 5350rpm wot cruise 3mpg at 30mph forgot rpm problem was cavitation in rough seas due to reduced diameter I presume.
I am looking for best cruise speed combined with fuel economy, main aplication is offshore fishing, keeping trolling in mind so I don't burn too much fuel at 7mph.
