Best time to sell a boat

Ok, I guess this is somewhat 'boat' related...<br /><br />I want to sell my 2001 (2150)Bayliner Capri. <br />As soon as my ocean boat project is done, I doubt I'll even take my Bayliner out very much.<br /><br />When do you think would be the best time of year to sell?<br /><br />Thanks,<br /><br />H.

On a rare sunny 70 degree day in late March, when spring fever sets in on people with fresh income tax return down payments in hand... but that's just my marketing strategy. Every boat I've ever bought was in late summer, but it never made much sense to me why I chose that time of year.

I've always heard that March - June is the best time to sell a boat.
