94 evinrude 50hp VRO. I want to remove the lines and pump / can i just pull them all and install a elec. pump. I don't think the one on here is working right /it is filling carbs with oil and flooding real bad ,so i pulled the oil hose and hooked to a tank of 50/1 and it ran better

Did you plug the oil line to the pump.

What's the electric pump business. the VRO pump is both a fuel pump and an oil pump. Disabling the oil side has no effect on the fuel side -- it will continue to work normally.

You must plug the oil inlet to the VRO pump so that it doesn't try to mix air with the fuel.
