Bettery Maintainer

I am contemplating installing a battery maintainer. I keep the battery switch in the off position while the boat is docked and have the bilge pumps "hot wired" to both batteries using diodes to "or" them in parrellel.

Question: how does one wire the battery maintainer to both batteries at the same time while the battery switch is in the off position and not have the betteries tied together? Can I "or" the charger in?

There are onboard charger/maintainers available with multiple banks. You just hook each battery to its own bank. One of the simplest installations you'll undertake.
