Between a rock and a hard place

I have a 20' center console powered by a 90hp tohatsu TLDI motor rated for 5150-5850 rpm. With a 13.75x15 Michigan Vortex 3 blade alum prop, she'll hit about 5300 rpm with a light load. For heavier loads, I bought a Turning Point Hustler 14x13 3 blade alum prop. The Hustler will set off the over-rev alarm with a light load, so I don't know how fast it will actually spin. What I really need is a 14" pitch prop that would be a happy medium between the two, but the only 14" pitch prop I can find is a stainless Quicksilver Predator for about $400. Not that I'm a cheapskate, but I'd rather run alum since I fish for Stripers in shallow, rocky water a lot.

Since I didn't pay a lot for the Hustler, should I assume that it's a low-end prop? Would a better-designed 13" pitched prop bite better/slip less, and therefore give me more speed without over-revving the engine? Would a 4 blade 13" pitch alum be an alternative?

Thanks

My opinion is that you just have the wrong prop. I just got myself a Hustler and am very happy with it.

Note most all places that sell the hustler..for instance mine cost me 116 with shipping. There is one place I found that will sell it at 134 delivered but if you don't like it..they will exchange the prop after you run it in the water.
