Beverly Hills Prints Sample ballots in English/Farsi

This was in the LA Times & the Seattle Times the other day....
Seems that 20% of the population of Beverly Hills is of Persian Decent......:^
So they printed the sample & absentee ballots in English & Farsi.....:%
Three of six candidates for the city council were born in Iran.......:^
It makes me all warm & fuzzy that they are trying so hard to assimilate........:/
In all fairness, it was translated into Spanish as well......:$

I think those folks are actually likely OK. At least I would give 'em the benifit o' the doubt n' all. Remember Tree's informative post about Turkey n' all. Which I think is spot on.
