As previously mentioned in another thread fishing trip cut short when pee stream failed to perform .
I did run it on the muffs but , also previously said , it doesnt go so well on the muffs but works in the water , something I had put down to not much water pressure on the hose and muffs not sealing well and that extra inlet on underside of cavitation plate , so when a bit of water peed out I called it a good un and went fishing .
Started the motor in the lake expecting the thrust from the pee stream to push the boat forward ... but no , all I got was a dribble and some steam followed by the shrill sound of .......

As you can see the impeller housing is warped , pic doesnt really show but there is nearly 2mm gap in the middle . This impeller housing and the pump base ( also holds drive shaft oil seals ) which are plastic look like they have got very hot at some stage as they are both miss-shaped .
With the benefit of hindsight I think this has been an issue sinse before I owned this motor . I had a pump kit on hand but not the base which is supposed to be here today . Im keen to see the difference with an all new pump .
The thing that pisses me off is that I have twice previously held that impeller housing in my hand and didnt see that it was damaged

Whoo hoo just got the txt the part is in town ..... see ya
