Bias tires OK for trailering?

I need new tires QUICK to replace my rotten ones. Around here, a 175/80/13 runs $86 for the tire alone. I found a website that sells an bias tire/wheel combo for $67 and a Radial for $108. The boat gets towed about 300 miles a month. I need 4 tires . $268 biases versus $432 radial. What do they sell on the new boats anyway? Any experience would be appreciated.

Thanks, today I asked an older co-worker who is basiically trailer extraordinaire the same question. He said radials definately and then stated it was as simple as choosing between Windows 98 and XP. I new what he meant even though the analogy wasn't that great.
