I have double controls (forward - Reverse seperate from throttle) and they have the name MORSE on them.
Before I go asking questions, is Morse a product from the USA, and if so, is anyone out there familiar with them.
When I get an answer from those 2 questions, I will post my problem>
Many thanks
Phillip

Morse has been around for years. They made shifting controls and steering controls. Teleflex has since bought them out.

Teleflex

Some of the dual lever single function controls were made at Hynautic for Morse. Really good units but, as Trent says, since the buy out parts and pieces have gone away for Morse and Hynautic. T-flex may have some stuff but they sure scrapped a lot.

Good luck!

Re: Big Problem with Controls - Morse

Thanks you for your replies.
Trent, the site you referred me to is spot on. In the FAQ section they cover what may be my problem.
However before we go at it, this is the problem.
I have 2 sets of MORSE controls. 1 set in the cabin, one up on the fly bridge.
The set in the cabin are very hard to get in to neutral. They keep going from forward to reverse and back to forward.I do get in to neutral in the end tho.
The set on the fly bridge are damned near impossible to find neutral.Really stiff and hard.
Before we follow the instructions in the Morse FAQ section, is there anything I should be aware off, any tricks or pit falls that any one has had experience with. Thought it best to ask this question first.
Thank you for your help everybody. Very much appreciated.
Cheers
Phillip
