big prop

i just bought this big *** prop not realizing the size, it is larger then the exisiting one, will this hurt the engine/drivetrain at all if i use it?

there should be a number on the prop, usually towards the back. It should be stamped on there, may have to look around a bit for it.

Generally speaking, most engines need to be 4200-4600 RPM @ WOT. Anything under 4200 & I would say your prop is too big. How does it compare to the old propeller performance wise?
