109,000 HP at 102 RPM !<br /><br />You would figure that it would rev more!<br /><br />On second thought, I'm not sure I'd want to be anywhere near that thing while running at 102 RPM!<br /><br />Can you imagine what would happen if that thing were to blow-up!<br /><br />It would be more than just a bang, that's for sure!

but do they make a four blade prop for a better hole shot?<br /> wow that is one massive engine. I have seen some big diesels before in power plant backup gensets but nothing over about 50ft long. man what a motor. wonder if it has a six year warrenty and no maint for 3 years

I was going to install the 10 cylinder model in my Toyota, but the bad gas mileage turned me against it.

Yep Castaway, gotta hand it to the Japanese Heavy Industries, they built some wild stuff! Like the big earth movers built in the USA, they build some large scale monsters.<br /><br />If that motor is anything likethe ones in my Toyotas, it'll be around for a loooong time.

How would you start that engine?? Is it VRO? How much fogging oil would it take to winterize? And L.D., do you suppose they run Amsoil in that thing???
