Bilge leak on Lowe Stinger 170w

I have water that appears to be trickling in from one of my two bilge pumps. Has anyone heard of this and how is it repaired? I have lifted the bilge compartment cover an watched as water literally trickles in through the center of the pump. Your suggestions?

That tells me that your are getting your overboard outlet submerged. There is no gate valve or anything else. The pump sits in water (in your bilge) and through centrifugal force pushes the water up a tube through a hole in the hull and over the side well above the water line. If the outlet submerges, you will get water back down the tube and into the boat.
