Re: Bill of Non-rights
The short answer is no. Why would you think that racist? I am curious.

Anyway, I will tackle these one by one:

Article 1: TV: Just a few short years ago, welfare reform was passed under Bill Clinton that Newt Gingrich called the crowning achievement of his tenure as speaker. This claim about TV's is just plain silly.

Article II

The world indeed is full of idiots. The guy that wrote this is a natural leader of this group. I can agree with this one.

Article III

While I do not have a guarantee of freedom from harm, I have a right of a reasonable expectation that a product is suitable for its intended use, and I have faith in the justice system and the courts to separate the wheat from the chaff in this. I have a right to my day in court- I tust our judicial system, and I don't need some politician telling me what is or isn't right.

Article IV: Free food and housing, and health care. Again, we just a few short years ago, passed welfare reform. What more do you want from these people? Pass harsher laws if you can. That is what the legislature, and elections are for. If you can't pass the laws, don't whine about it in silly "Bills of No Rights" garbage.

Article V Free health care: This is a curious one. On the one hard, he complains that we give away too much to welfare recipients, and in this article he uses the example of the nasty state of public housing to show that we don't want to fund it. Which is it? I am confused.

And of course, the white middle class has access to health care generally--who else is important?

Article VI:

Killing or maiming someone. That is why we have laws, and police forces, and courts. I am not sure some politician spouting from the sidelines like some leviathan with PMS adds all that much to the discussion.

Article VII: Stealing: Ditto to article 6

Article VIII

Right to have a job. This is America, and I have the right to chose my own path, as long as it is legal. And again we passed welfare reform not long ago. What else do you want? It would of course be nice if our national leadership did not adopt economic policies that cost the country 3 million jobs in just a couple short years, but that is just wishful thinking, I suppose.

Article IX:

Pursuit of Happiness. So which are the idiotic laws that limit us? Or is it the constitution itself. You are a politician. Get support and change them if you can, and stop your soapbox whining.

Article X:

English speaking. I pay my taxes, and I will speak any **** language I want. It might just be handy for Americans to learn another language or two, just to get a feel for how the rest of the world thinks about things. We might even learn something. When I was recently in Finland, I talked to recent school graduates, and all were required to learn and be fluent in 4 languages in school. Finnish, Sweedish, English, and the 4th of their choice. It sure has not seemed to hurt them.
