Bimini Height

I'm thinking about adding a bimini top to my 17' bowrider. I'm wondering if anyone can give practical advice regarding how tall it should be. I was considering the tallest (48"-54") so everyone could walk beneath it. What are the pros and cons of different heights?

I researched bimini's for my boat a couple weeks ago on the net and most give a couple opptions for heights depending on what kind of activity you do in the boat, cruise, fish or what have ya.<br />Go into your search engine and look up bimini. Hope this helps.
