I have a 1995 Larson SEi194 and wish to purchase a Bimini top. These tops all appear to have hardware for installing on the top of flat surface gunwales. This make/model has very skinny gunwales which will not be sufficient width for that.
Any one have advice or first hand experience with this boat and Bimini top???

Not much experience myself, but a quick google search got an Image of this, looks like it could be mounted at an angle you need.
Image result for Bimini top hardware

They make biminis with vertical mounts, meant to be installed on the outside of the boat, just under the gunwale.

I think your Larson is what is called a Euro style, which means not many flat areas. The mount Grub showed is for mounting on the side and the pivot is to give a straight up bimini mount. Google your Larson and the pics will show what Spoon was saying.

Good luck. Installed a bimini on my bowrider recently and took it out this week for the first time. GREAT addition, made it that much more enjoyable!
