Just bought a taylormade bimini top for my Larson from Iboats.com looks great not installed yet because I've been debating on getting the bimini rear support poles and eliminating the rear hold down straps. are these poles just as ridged? Will they break kink bend or twist off? I think they look cool u can cruise with your top at an angled position without laying the top flat down on the sun deck. Need someone's .002$

Well worth the money. Get metal hardware instead of nylon, gives better support. Most biminis tend to flex (wiggle) laterally, especially with nylon hardware. I replaced mine with stainless and virtually eliminated the movement.

Don't use bolts on the struts where they attach to the gunwale. Go with the quick release clips. Very easy if you decide to lay the top completely down and no tools required.
