We have a 14' Lowe V hull with a 9.9 motor and electric trolling motor. My wife is thinking she would like a top on the boat but I question installing one on a lighter boat.
Would not the wind tend to blow the boat around a bit? I don't think it would be unstable or dangerous but just wondering.

I thought it might. I guess they are pretty simple to put up and down anyway. Thanks

We have a Bimini top on our jon boat and it's just one item we wouldn't want to be without, especially with sunlight/UV/sunburn/skin cancer on everyone's mind these days....and we're both getting a bit older and being out in the sun just seems to cause more discomfort than it used to....you can rig it so it goes up and down in 30 seconds!...no problem!...

Two straps w hooks..... Push top up, hook straps.... Takes 45 seconds...
Unhook straps flop top down... 20 seconds

Allow additional time to wrap straps around top ;-)
