I found (well I was told about it) a free navigation/geocaching utility. It has compass with a speed read out.(metric and US settings) You can add waypoints just like a handheld gps unit. I have downloaded to my Blackberry Curve (8330) and added several of my fishing waypoints and I am going to play around with it this weekend to see how I like it . You can also transfer the waypoints to BBmaps as well as google map app in you phone. Just thought some would like it.

Looks neat, but can almost guarantee it won't work with verizon. They have the GPS locked and it will only work with the VZ navigator, and BB Maps.

Yep.. I forgot to mention I'm using Sprint as my carrier.

Works great on my Telus supplied 8830...
