Bought a winner bass boat with an 85 black max on it. Put a ton of effort in making this boat nice and clean for summer. I was super excited to try it out on sunday, put it in the water and went for a test run. Everything seemed fine the water pump seemed to be working because it was pissing water. I brought it up to 60 mph and then came back to my dock still everything ok.
later that night around 5 i brought out my girlfriend to give her a ride. I didnt bother checking if the water was pissing and when i hammerd it i went less than a km and everything just seized up
i over heated at about 240 f.
Now heres the point of my post im kinda stuck on what to do i love the boat but i cant afford to put three grand in this motor.
what do you guys think my best options are A, fix it B,sell the boat with no engin and part whats left thats good?
p.s can you even sell a boat with no engin i know i wouldnt buy one?
