Bleeding 270t hydraulic trim

Just bought a 1974 Delta tri haul. It has a Volvo b30 engine with a Volvo Penta 270T. I am having 2 problems right now.

Problem1. I cannot get the throttle to work. I can shift and change the gears but the controls will not move the throttle cable. I can rev the engine at the carb. Is there way to see if the control box is ok? If I need to replace the controls will any other manufacture's control box work?

Problem2. The trim does not work. I can hear the pump spin but the ram doesn't move. I think I might have air in the system. Can someone help me with the proper way to bleed the system?

I looked for a manual for the motor and outdrive but the one advertised on this forum does not have a straight 6 cylinder listed in their description. Does anyone know where I can get one specific to this engine and outdrive?

Many single handle controls will work for yours. First start by pulling the control from the boat and see if the cables are broke, damaged or the control is the problem. Pics of what your looking at can help

See if you have oil in the pump. There should be a cap/plug which can be removed to check level. Bleeding is simply running the trim up and down.
