Bleeding tilt and trim

Just bought Starcraft Islander with 115HP Merc. The seller had put new oil in the trim/tilt unit but couldn't figure out how to bleed it. Any advice for me? <br />thanks much

Throbbin Rods, I believe you just operate it several cycles to full up and down .Are you experiencing limited tilt range?

Is it an old 115 or newer 115? Old style has bleed screws on cylinders, new style self purges.
