blown 2004 Johnson motor

Recently had to purchase a new motor as my 2004 90 HP Johnson motor is blown. Motor was well maintained twice per year by dealer, washed out after each use, etc. Want to make a complaint with company. Need advice.

Did you tear down the engine to see what happened, what caused it to blow?

What do you expect BRP to do about an 8 year old motor?

IMHO, I don't think BRP will do anything about it due to the age of it.
