blown fuse on ignition

Just blew a fuse on the battery/12V terminal on my ignition. The blown fuse was 10A.

I put a new fuse in and it seems to work fine, but I'm guessing there could be an underlying problem, or the fuse is either deffective or too small.

Any Suggestions? Very much appreciated!

And if that blows, move to a 20, then a 25, then a 30. When the smoke starts rolling then look for the problem

In reality, if it's supposed to have a 10A fuse, replace it with a 10A fuse. IF it doesn't blow, the previous fuse may have just decided to go bad. Have seen it many times over the years. But going bigger is not the right thing to do.

Thanks, I'll go with the 15. My manual shows that there is a fuse, but doesn't indicate the size.
