Blue Fin Boats

I own a 1988 Blue Fin 1700. Does anyone know what happened to this boat manufacturer? They disappeared around 1994. They may have been bought out by Fisher Marine, but I cannot find anything definitive.

They were bought by Brunswich Marine, parent company of Mercury, and 15 boat companies. Brunswich also owned Fisher for a number of years.

here's a forum on the bluefin spectrum. they were a package boat, motor, trailer, either with a force or mercury motor.
