Re: Blue Water or Rienell runabouts

I have owned 2 BlueWater Boats. First was a 20 footer called The Mirage Bowrider Wakeboard Boat. Loved that boat!!!! Wife and I decided we wanted a Cuddy Cruiser to spend time on the water like all weekend. Bought the MonteCarlo Cuddy boat. Love its lay out has porta pottie, sink, single burner stove, icebox, 5 gallon fresh water supply, and sleeps 2 in the cuddy and 2 in the cockpit. I personally think if you buy the biggest BlueWater with the most Horsepower you can afford you won't go wrong. If you have ant questions at all feel free to email me. rbyers3963@aol.com I will answer your email. I am Bias as far as BlueWater Boats go as I used to run the Service Department for a BlueWater Dealer here in Northern California.
Rick Byers

Hi Rich,

I thought Bluewater boats are the big house boat type boats. I don't think bluewater made them that small did they?

JAZZ ;)

Re: Blue Water or Rienell runabouts

Thank you both for your comments.
Richard you were exactly who I needed to hear from
. I finallly tracked down the manufacturer there
are actually based out of oregon. Rienell (So Cal
Industries actually purchased Bluewater in 99) according to A gal I spoke to there there are keeping Bluewater as their somewhat upper line.
She said a little more frills. I am finding a few
94,95 models out there. I wonder if you have any
opinions or comments on the Astro,Falcon, and Eagle.

Again thank you for taking the time to help.

Sincerely,
Spokevegas

Greg Emailed you about the boats. E-mail me if you have any more questions.

JAZZ, BlueWater Yachts make big old high dollar boats.
BlueWater Fishing Boats make some pretty good Fishing boats.
BlueWater Pleasure Boats builds the Runabouts and Cuddy cabin boats Some pretty well built and layed out boats. Three different companies.I loved working on them because everything is so accessable from the engine bay to the Dash panel and everything in between.
Later Rick Byers

Oh, My apologies Mr. Byers

I did not know whether you were talking about Bluewater yachts. On the other hand, I did not know that they made a Blue-Water Runabout. Sorry about that.

JAZZ ;)

Re: Blue Water or Rienell runabouts

I have a 1991 19' bluewater exec cuddy model with 4.3 mercruiser. I have had to replace acouple of items like the bilge pump and windshield wiper motor. I like the quality for the hull. It's pretty heavy for a 19'. almost 3900lbs. It's great for camping, fishing and water sports. It does put up a pretty good wake for such a small boat though. We were looking at the new bluewater ski boats at the boat show but my wife wanted a boat small enough to fit in the garage. So we bought a little glastron 17' with a folding tongue trailer, I still have the bluewater for now cause she says the new boat is to nice to fish in.

I fish mostly in the bay and launch out of pierce harbor(1 mile from my house) or suisun boat ramp. If I am fishing down by mare island I launch at vallejo. I probably took the boat out on berryessa 20-25 times tubing, sking and trout fishing last year. My wife and I both grew up on the lake and our work schedule let go alot durring the week. I have to say memmorial day and 4th of july lots of parties!
