Anyone use a boat online, whether online or in person that they'd like to share? I'd like to grab a few projects, and I'd like to at least cut my research time in half if one of you can help. Thanks!

oof... couldn't resist answering this one lol... People here are gonna hate me for this one, but in reality its a $h*tload of boat projects. It's called COPART. I've bought projects from there and had some pretty sweet deals. Problem is lots of people going on here and lots of DUMMIES bid WAAAYYY too high! DON'T join them. Drives me nuts seeing people bid more for project boats than for what a good one is worth! YES the ARE good deals, but you will really have to wait around and know what something is worth BEFORE bidding a LOT of money. Also know that on top of the sale price there are all sorts of fees. and BEWARE of AUCTION FRAUD. Yes there is such a thing and people get caught paying well over what an item is worth because someone "doctored" it up. you can't see from the pics and it looks alright but in reality parts are held together with duct tape and when you look close up there is double trouble. Mostly a car thing but can happen with boats so just have a good look at it before you bid, preferably in person, if you can't, hire an inspector such as AEINSP. That auction is getting really crowded so maybe I am hurting myself posting this because I make my deals worse but lol anyways i'll let you in on this one. So yeah just go to the vehicle finder and select boats and there is a hole ton of projects there lol.

Thanks, I was looking at copart, and I am the type of buyer that infuriates sellers because I just don't want to come off the cash. I'll check with copart. Thanks!
