boat buying question

Looking at a 1998 Bayliner capri 2352LS cuddy, clean with a 220 hp merc cruiser alph 1
low hours for $8995. any one have any knowledge or commit on this boat ?

What engine specifically? That seems like a big boat for 220hp. Depends how you plan to use it i guess....

Not sure on price but it seems in the ballpark.

I looked at other boats similar to yours, LX, LX capri, and a 2352 fishing boat, The 2352LX they wanted $19,995 for both of the LX's. Sounds good for yours, A boat can be the most beautiful boat in the world but if the engine isn't good then you bought a beautiful lawn ornament. Engine for me always comes first, $5000-$6000 dollars for new engine and stern drive to be compatable? I would take a good look at the engine and ask to take her out for a run and keep an eye on all the gauges and under the engine cover too.
