I recently bought a 20' 1989 Mirrocraft Voyageur aluminum deep v hull boat with a 1988 Evinrude 110hp V4 motor on it. Both are in incredibly good shape considering the age and the vinyl covered floor is in excellent shape. it was stored inside except for the limited times it was actually being used. My question is, how the heck do I clean the interior of this boat after a day of fishing? In the fiberglass boats I've been in, we just hose and scrub everything down at the end of the day to remove any fish blood/slime, but the water drainage in this boat seems to run right through the upholstery on the sides and back, past the battery and oil tank and then out the back under the floor. Seems like over time the boat could really stink. Any suggestions/experience would be greatly appreciated. I have a ttached pictures of the boat.

Re: Boat Cleaning/Drainage Question

bow high, open the doors, wash it down, then a little bleach or pine sol, etc. keep a wet rag on board to clean up any blood soon after it get on the boat.
