What would you guys suggest/recommend for a overall cover? The boat will most likely be out site during winter so will need something that for the winter as well.

Re: Boat cover?

Depends on what you want to spend. You can spend anywhere from $40 on a Walmart cover to hundreds on a customer fit cover. I used a Wal-Mart cover because my boat was going to be parked for long periods in a wooded area. I didn't want a nice cover to get ruined by all the tree dirt. I actually got 3 seasons out of the Wal-Mart cover and it kept everything dry. Last year I got a low-end Westland brand cover from here at iboats on crazy sale. It fits great and seems to be pretty well made. However, it doesn't seem to be as water tight. Go figure.

I'm a fan of cheaper fitted covers and then covering the whole boat (with the cover on) with big blue (or gray) plastic tarps you get at home depot for the winter months....no matter how expensive a cover is , the rain/snow on the winter is going to beat it up bad.
