Boat cover?

Looking for a cheap boat cover.

I'm seeing some at my local Fleet Farm for 50 bucks.
But I dont know what size to buy. I have a 14 foot Glastron Skiflite (1962)

They sell them for 12-14 foot and 14-16 foot. What size would fit tight and keep water out? Also my boat doesn't have a windshield yet. So I dont know if that will make a difference.

I would probably buy the bigger one, knowing your are probably going to have to build some sort of stand or tripod out of wood to throw in the cockpit area when you put the cover on to elevate the cover in that area. If you don't, the water will pool in the section of the cover that goes over the interior of the boat.

Bettter to err on the big side. Perhaps it will say on the package if the cover size allows for a windshield? Either way, you'll want to prop it up as 444 says, to allow water to run off. Realize that $50 is really cheap for a boat cover, so don't expect it to last very long.

Don't expect much for $50. It may be better to spend a little more for a better cover that'll hold up for a couple/few years. I also agree to go bigger. You'll need the extra room so you can prop up the middle like a tent, so water doesn't pool.

50 dollar cover will be better that what I had. Got a free one last year.
I used the free one for the winter plus tarped it. (also braced it up). But the heavy snow we had this year destroyed the cover. So it will be a vast improvement from what I have now... (Nothing..

I run by there again and take a look at the covers again.
If I recall right. The bigger one showed it covering the outboard while the smaller one didn't even show an outboard. I'll probably pick up the bigger one.
