Anyone give me a good line on cheap boat covers for a 19 ft Nitro Fish and ski?
I have to Haul it through slushy crap to get it home
Do you think I will do any damage to the front of the boat from sandd and.gravel?
I know ...kinda dumb question but I never had a boat before?
Im just not too sure how much I need to protect it

Re: Boat Covers

You can get covers right here at iboats.
I have hauled my Gambler through some nasty stuff and have never had any damage from it.
Always washed it off when I got home before putting it in the garage.

Re: Boat Covers

I buy the cheap covers at Wal-Mart or BassPro. They are pretty thin but they keep the water out. Where my boat sits during the season there is a lot of tree crap so the cover gets really dirty. I would hate to buy a more expensive cover and have it get all nasty. I'd rather buy a new $40 one every couple years and throw it out when it gets too bad. These covers work fine but make sure to protect them from any sharp corners like the windshield corners.

Re: Boat Covers

i've never had a problem, but if i had one of those jacked up pick ups with big tires, i would put mud flaps on the truck. this is what i do for storage inside or outside. stormed the last 2 nights and no water standing.
