i don't know if this is the right forum to list this or if it is considered tacky to do so but here goes. if you look on K-BID.com there is a boat dealer going from 9 down to 5 stores (wonder why in today's ecconomy) that is having an online auction. i found the auction by accident looking for some trailer parts. lot's of stuff that if you have a need for it might be a good deal.
they have the aution broken into 2 parts, boats and everything else. i noticed on the boats they have a 1963 seaking runabout.
anyway just thought i would let everyone know just in case it helps them find a part they might need. and before someone asks "no i do not work for k-bid" a also don't know anything about them or who they are. i do live in minnesota and the company down sizing is Crystal-Pierz Marine. i've bought from them and they always seemed like a good dealer. i don't know what people are seeing around other parts of the country but i don't think this auction will be the last we will see in the next couple of years.

Re: Boat dealer auction

Peirz at one time was our biggest Bennington dealers selling 600 boats a year, sorry to see them in trouble but that isn't an uncommon story now, I have hears of several of our dealers filing bancrupcy in the last couple weeks.

They used to have 12 stores so this would be their second downsizing.
