boat dies and then starts back up after an hour

I have a 94 18' Crownline that has a Mercruiser 4.3 that will die when I'm going at a slow (no wake)speed. It died after about 15 minutes. An hour went by and it started back up again. It did the same thing after about 1 minute at a slow speed. Any suggestions to why this is happening?

I'd be guessing...<br />to diagnose your problem, next time it dies, pull a spark plug check to see if you're losing spark and look down the carb. and see if you have fuel when you move the throttle.
