I had a "Motor Mechanic" with supposedly 30 years experience start messing around with my electrical on my pontoon boat. When I went to start my boat, the trim switch did not work to lower the motor so had to do it with switch on motor (1998 Johnson 50 2 stroke). I had him come back and fix it. Went to start motor and key starter would not work. Had him come back and fix that. Now, the key starter works when I turn the key on but cannot shut the motor down without choking it to stop it. He says he does not know how to fix that. Does anyone out there know what to do?
