Hey jst a quick easy question.. boat is gonna be sitting for about three weeks to a month, do I need to do anything with it or just let it sit?? its a merc 5.0mpi with alpha 1 Gen 2. All the fluids are good, weather is nice and it has already been takin out at least 5 times. gas is low should i fill it up and put stabil or does that not matter? Thank yas

There really shouldn't be any problem at all with a few weeks' layup. Up here I can routinely keep my boat unused for that length of time due to lousy weather on the weekends :)

The only thing I would do, is get some Sta-bil into the fuel you have on board and run it through the motor.

I'd also top up the gas tank (then use stabil). That's just my personal opinion. You shouldn't have a problem at all with a short term layup like that either way.

Top off the tank would be the most important. Then leave it in the shade.J
