Re: boat handeling problem

What kind of handling problems?
Yes;raise the motor to a point just before venting (cavitation)becomes a problem.A prop like a Turning point Hustler will allow a higher setting.

If the motor is too low it may handle strangely.Listing to the left may be prop torque. Is it hard to get the bow to stay up? Does it seem to lay down to much the faster you go?Does it respond when you trim up?

You probably don't want to hear this but you may have a distortion in the bottom.A slight hollow spot in the bottom probably back near the transom.
Should be easy to find by laying a straight edge along the bottom.
If not too severe you may be able to fill it or perhaps push it out from inside.Smart tabs won't help.Hope I'm wrong after all your hard work.

well i was finely able to look at the bottom of the boat i used a straight edge everything looked good no voids or distortions im going to try to move the motor up one hole and see what that does
