boat in storage

i just bought this boat and i took it out about 7 times within 2 weeks before i had to leave to iraq. but now 6 months later iam coming home, i didnt do anything to it before i but it in storage. is there anything i should do before taking it out again.

its great to see you home safe<br /><br />i hope it did not get cold were you store the boat because of freeze damage to the motor<br /><br />normaly you would change the motor oil and drive oil once per season as well as any fuel filters/ water sepators<br /><br />thank you for going to IRAQ for the USA<br /><br />tommays

Thanks for your sevice! I wouldnt think you would have to do to much short of checking the levels, timing, fuel air mix. Although checking engine oil for water is what I ran into . I recieved a boat stored for 5 years, purs like a kitten now, but has tons of water in oil from not being properly stored. And water sneaking past carb into intake valves.
