My new to me '88 Sea Ray Seville 18' topped out at 32 mph (speedo) with the 19P prop and 3 adults on board. It positively jumped on plane, I don't recall the RPM.

I have learned I should get on the water with our intended load and do some testing with trim adjusments and get good RPM/GPS speed data.

However, I don't have a spare prop and I hate to head out without one. I would like to buy a new prop (the existing one is only mildly worn on the edges) and make the 19P my backup, but I don't know what to get.

Anybody know what is a good choice for this common boat/motor combo? I know ideally I should do more testing, but I really hate to get out there and get stranded.

Not enough info :D

It might be good for a 3.0 but on the small side for a 5.0

The 32 MPH sounds wrong with a 19" prop no matter what
