Anyone know of a good place to get boat lettering done? I would prefer to get them on-line. I need them for my new old boat. The name will be: "Smitty's Kiddies"<br /><br />For my kids.<br /><br />Thank you in advance.<br /><br />Smitty

Smitty777 – WELCOME to the board!!! <br /><br />Just a quick reminder, it is inappropriate to use your “kiddies” as trolling bait, although you may at times feel an urge to do so. <br /><br />Here is another web site. I have no experience with them. You can design the lettering online, fonts and colors. Boat US, local sign shop. They all can cut vinyl letters.

Buy them local. Don't buy them off the net. Any sign shop - and I mean ANY of them can make the lettering for you. It will be done much faster and for less money than Boat US, West Marine, or any of the others. Ask the guy at you local sign shop to keep the file or to put it on disk for you as well, so that when you scratch up a letter you can go back and for a couple of bucks have him cut you a replacement (try that with Boat US) on the spot. This is one area wher buying local really makes a lot more sense than looking all over hell and gone on the Internet for a good price (locally will probably be much less expensive).<br /><br />Thom

Some of the better shops can make multiple color decals in a single sheet instead of stacking layers of vinyl. A little more $$ but looks better.
