I have a Johnson Seahorse 60 HP motor. Mod # is J60ELC1A, I need to know the year.<br /><br />Also, I went to the lake the other day and left my boat keys at the house, I didn't want to come all the way back for the keys. So, I tried to bypass the switch and crank the motor and I did get it turned over but didn't choke it so I tried it again. That time it quit turning over like I shorted something out. So, when I got home and tried to turn over with the keys it won't do anything. The fuel gage won't even come up when I turn over the key.<br />The serial # is J5465769<br /><br />Question: Did I burn up the swtich or did I short out something else and if something else what are the possibilities? I am not boat motor savy.
